In memory of my beloved Rottie, Uzo, who passed away in June 2023, I am dedicated to caring for pets and finding creative inspiration in every paws-on-the-ground adventure.
Loving the outdoors
Just before I wrote this page, I found myself knee-deep in horse dung at an active farm. Yes, you read that right—horse dung. Such is the glamorous life I lead. Before settling into work this morning, I’d already tended to an overexcited border collie, two incontinent and slightly demented cats, and two hungry horses, trudging through a muddy field to make sure everyone was happy.
When I look after pets, my approach remains the same: pups and cats come first. Their needs, along with the care of your home, are always treated with the utmost respect. My pet-sitting adventures have seen me leap into icy ponds to save a sheep, unravel the mystery of escaping chickens, and lock eyes with a majestic deer sporting enormous antlers. I hold a dog behaviour therapy license, have trained shelter dogs for easier adoption, written adoption advice, and raised two spirited Rotties. I’m also currently training in dog nutrition—because great care starts from the inside out, and I believe every dog deserves to thrive, not just cope. I’m responsible, structured, and respectful of both your pets’ and your home’s needs. My top priority? Ensuring your pets feel safe and relaxed while you’re away—yet still wagging their tails when you walk through the door!
